The talent have got their invites, the fans are pulling their prized books from their longboxes, and MCM London Comic Con is gearing up for the biggest celebration of comics talent to be brought to an MCM yet. From Frank Miller to Frank Quitely, from Amanda Connor to John Romita Jr., from Tess Fowler to Chris Claremont and so, SO many more, next weekend at the ExCel Centre really is shaping up to be an incredible show, the likes of which an MCM crowd has never seen before.

But what will MCM be doing with this talent, once they arrive? It’s all well and good, getting them on a plane and shipping them here, but it’s always good to keep talent like this busy.

And that’s where the Comic Village Stage comes in – located at the rear corner of the North Hall (nestled beside the Main Stage and the Creator Stage), it will be the place for fans to see and hear from their comics idols, up close and personal in an incredible line-up of panels, presentations, art demos and discussions.

Full disclosure: I am one of the panel hosts for MCM, tasked with moderating a large portion of the panels and so it will be one of the places you will find me predominately throughout the weekend. And that being said, I can’t wait to share with you the line-up of panels that you can experience if you’re heading to London next weekend. You can see the kind of thing I’m planning to get up to, with this recording of the BETWEEN THE PANELS, er, panel I held with Liam Sharp, Ken Lashley, Matteo Scalera and Geof Darrow in London, back in May…

Please note: this isn’t the full schedule that MCM have got in store – there’s going to be changes and additions along the way so do keep an eye on the MCM Comic Cons App that is available for iOS and Android, updated regularly.
