This week Dark Horse released a preview of their upcoming second issue of FIGHT CLUB 3, a hardcover release showcasing art from the animated series BRAVEST WARRIORS, a new TROUT story from Troy Nixey and colorist Dave Stewart, the announcement of a Dark Horse property being picked up by Syfyfor a series starring Alan Tudyk.
FIGHT CLUB 3 #2 was released this week, and if you haven’t picked it up yet, here’s a preview of the title from Chuck Palahniuk and Cameron Stewart including multiple cover versions (from David Mack, Francesco Francavilla, and Stewart) and some interior pages.
Fans of the animated web series Bravest Warriors, should be excited as this August Dark Horse is releasing a 200 page hardcover titled THE ART OF BRAVEST WARRIORS.
The $39.99 book will feature artwork from some of the people involved in the series including creator Pendleton Ward as well as developers, designers, and artists.
Coming this October is an art book showing off some of the concepts, production work, and more from the hit video game CUPHEAD.
The 160-page hardcover titled THE ART OF CUPHEAD from Dark Horse Books and Studio MDHR will be released on October 22, 2019.
Also announced this week was a new four issue TROUT story from Troy Nixey, and Dave Stewart titled TROUT: THE HOLLOWEST KNOCK.
Look for the first issue on June 19th.
The week in news ended with the announcement that Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse’s RESIDENT ALIEN series was picked up by the Syfy Channel for a series starring Alan Tudyk along with series regulars
Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund, and Levi Fiehler.
The comedy series is about an alien (played by Alan Tudyk) who crashes on Earth and becomes a doctor in a small Colorado town.

From Universal Content Productions (UCP), in association with Amblin TV and Dark Horse Entertainment, the series was adapted to television by executive producer Chris Sheridan (“Family Guy”). Mike Richardson (“Hellboy”) and Keith Goldberg (“The Legend of Tarzan”) of Dark Horse Entertainment (“The Umbrella Academy”), and Justin Falvey (“The Americans”) and Darryl Frank (“The Americans”) of Amblin TV will also executive produce.
