I love having a look into everyone’s lives after college, its letting us hold on to the gang a little while longer while this fantastic series is ending. Oh yes, the dreaded after college life.

Although, Ester, Daisy and Susan seem to be doing pretty good. Or at least better then me after college, just binge reading books for a month. Anyway, Ester is in publishing as an editorial assistant while being pushed around by two other executive assistants… Daisy is an archaeologist, living with her adorable girlfriend and working on a haunted celebrity tomb. And of course, Susan is a doctor who keeps telling people to “saw it off”, no matter what it really is. Although, not all is well in paradise living with McGraw. He’s having a hard time finding the job for him and still working at the a key cutting shop. I would have to say that Ed is the biggest surprise, he’s a banker.

Ester and Ed are both living in London and are able to meet up for arcade night, this is where Ester fesses up about not seeing the girls… for ten months. Ed is shocked that Ester would provoke “Lady Vengeance”, A.K.A. Susan. Anyway, the girls had promised to meet up on the last Friday of every month.

But, Ester is having a hard time finding what she wants to do and is drowning herself in work and she has put Goth Ester down for good, (I really doubt we won’t see Goth Ester again, just call this a feeling I have). As Ester and Ed talk, she buys a ticket to go and finally see the girls. Once Daisy and Susan find out, well they couldn’t be more excited and knowing Susan, she’s probably going to enact her revenge against Ester for making them wait to see her for so long. As Susan is preparing, she finds out that McGraw has been turning down dream jobs in his field because they all would require him to move away from her. While this fight is going on, Daisy runs home to grab a box for Ester that she has been keeping. It’s filled with things she thought Ester would like or things that she has wanted to talk to her about but couldn’t as Ester was gone. I’m not crying from this, nope, I just had a whole branch fly into my eyes.

But I digress, the two witches (they have the same name and look the exact same, they are witches) from Ester’s work follow her to her meet up with the girls in Sheffield (where they attended college). The two witches want to make Ester into one of them, have her matching them and such. The witches, called the Cressidas get Ester to leave with them and ditch the girls.

The next day Ester has to face Daisy and Susan, as they urge her to break up with the Cressidas, calling them “vampire energy suckers”. The two Cressidas corner the girls outside and turn out to be some type of evil spirits, Susan takes the initiative and gets the girls attention to follow her down the street while Daisy and Ester ready their plan. Susan runs into the key cutting store McGraw works at and tells him to do what he wants to do (job wise) and they will figure it out if he has to move. After they share a nice moment, McGraw gives Susan a skeleton key that can open any lock.

As she runs back outside to lead the Cressidas / evil spirits to the cursed tomb that Daisy has been working at. They get the tomb open with the skeleton key and the cursed spirit comes out and snatches the Cressidas away and the gang locks the tomb behind them. Ester isn’t too sure how she is going to explain this to her boss and still unsure what she wants to do with her life, but she does know the first step…
