This week Image Comics released previews of some upcoming covers for anticipated titles.
First up were previews for the record breaking 301st issue of Spawn. The issue will have 18 different cover versions. When it is released on October 2nd it will become the longest running creator-owned comic in the world as it passes Dave Sim’s Cerebus.
The first four of them to be announced and released are from Alex Ross, Jason Shawn Alexander, Francesco Mattina, & Jerome Opeña
The other preview this week was a Becky Cloonan cover for the By Chance Or Providence trade paperback reprint.
The trade paperback collects Cloonan’s trilogy of “Wolves,” “The Mire,” and “Demeter”. The title is now available on Amazon and other retailers.
