“You look up from the base of an immensely tall and wide tower reaching up to the heavens, seemingly composed of 10 cities stacked upon each other, with each emanating powerful and diverse magics that you can both see and feel. You know this massive structure to be built upon a holy wellspring, and that the creation of each new upper district every 100 years calls forth the blessings of the gods, such that all in the city may prosper. Welcome… to Salvata!”
This is the introduction I can’t wait to give to my players when the Sirens: Battle of the Bards RPG book, created by Satine Phoenix and Jamison Stone of Apotheosis Studios, is released following their much-anticipated Kickstarter launching on April 22nd!
I got the chance to sit down with Satine and Jamison for a foray into the incredibly robust magical city of Salvata, and the myriad additions they’ve added to make this your new favorite campaign setting.
In the interview which you can see above, Satine and Jamison give us a preview of the 10+ bard subclasses coming in the new book, how performance is an art inherent to every person living in the city of Salvata, and what the experience of bringing together the many incredibly talented individuals that helped make this book happen was like.
As a fan of Satine and Jamison’s work, this interview was an absolute treat, and I am super excited to get my hands on Battle of the Bards when it launches.
If you want to get the 300+ page book, with 20+ 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons adventures spanning Tiers 1 to 4 of play, foreword by Luke Gygax, Orchestral Soundtrack by Jason Charles Miller, integrations for all major VTT platforms, and SO MUCH MORE, you can join the Kickstarter, which launches on April 22nd and goes until May 22nd!
The Kickstarter campaign is now live. Check it out here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stonejamison/sirens-battle-of-the-bards?ref=bdsz1d
