comiXology release details of SDCC@HOME and Amazon Virtual Con panels / July releases

This is going to be a headache of a week! We don’t just have Comic-Con International having their big online shindig – SDCC@HOME – in the absence of the physical convention in San Diego, but we also have a whole bunch of ancillary companies, publishers, broadcasters and exhibitors putting on their own efforts, including the likes of Funko, Mondo and more… Alongside? In competition of? That’s a conversation for another time but, for right now, comiXology has announced their participation for two of those shows: SDCC@HOME and Amazon Virtual Con.

SDCC@HOME (Thursday 23rd – Sunday 26th July; Preview Night, Wednesday 22nd July) may have already announced their line-up so the comiXology news in that regard isn’t exactly fresh but the Amazon panel details is new stuff so it’s good to see what they have in mind.

And it’s a lot, featuring the likes of superstar creators such as Richard Starkings (ELEPHANTMEN), Jeremy Holt and Elizabeth Beals (VIRTUALLY YOURS), Mags Visaggio and Claudia Aguirre (LOST ON PLANET EARTH), Chip Zdarsky, Curt Pires, Dee Cunniffe and more, showcasing upcoming comiXology Originals releases due to hit the platform from July onwards.
