San Diego Comic-Con 2019 is literally just around the corner – we’re in single digits for days now, with the show kicking off on Thursday 18th through till Sunday 21st July (Preview Night: Wednesday 17th July). But it’s not just about the stuff organised by Comic-Con International,of course, and one of the staples of nerd-dom is the ever popular online brands of Nerdist and Geek & Sundry.
They maybe dialling back on the level of participation this year – following residencies at the Petco Park site and in locations in Downtown San Diego – but both are bringing a veritable shit-ton of content to the con next week, including another entry to their legendary mid-con parties – themed around STRANGER THINGS, the big bash takes place on Thursday at the city’s premier nightspot, the Fluxx Nightclub on 500 4th Ave.

With stars of Nerdist News, Because Science, Explainiac, Relics & Rarities, Calliso*6, Starter Kit, Vampire: The Masquerade – L.A. by Night, Asinine Wisdom, Sagas of Sundry, We’re Alive: Frontier, and more, fans can get their fill of their most favorite performers, serving up truth, mystery, and hot hot hot takes.
There are also daily activities that don’t require a Comic-Con badge, starting on Thursday night with Nerdist’s The Upside Down! A Stranger Party. Partnering with Experience Level Entertainment.
