One of the most eagerly anticipated San Diego Comic-Con off-site events – HOP-CON – has been launched on its Eventbrite site, with tickets going on sale from 10am PT (1pm ET / 6pm GMT) on Friday 31st May, with prices from $22 to just over $80 for the various very tasty tiers up for grabs.
Hop-Con is held at the ornate and opulent Stone Brewing Bistro & Gardens location at Liberty Station, just a stone’s throw (no pun intended) from Downtown San Diego, on the other side of the city’s harbour on the former site of the Naval Base, now the home of a number of high-quality shops, boutiques and promenades.
$22 will get you a limited edition lithograph signed by the artist of this years signature W00tstout beer, the one and only Alan Davis – these are limited edition but will be very desirable. HERO INITIATIVE LITHOGRAPHS
Hero Initiative will once again be partnering with us to bring you this year’s bottle art in a lithograph signed by the bottle artist, Alan Davis! Lithographs can be purchased for $20 online and during the event. There will also be a very limited number of previous years’ artwork for sale. ALL proceeds go back to comic artists from yesteryear!

Alan Davis is an English-born writer and artist of comics. He began his professional career in 1982 with Marvel UK’s Captain Britain. Since then, he has written and drawn for a plethora of other Marvel and DC comics, including Batman, X-Men, Justice League, Fantastic Four, The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and most recently a series of Thanos original graphic novels.
