BOXLUNCH hosts open-to-all Bodega Pop-Up in New York on Friday of New York Comic Con

This sounds like fun – and you don’t have to be a New York Comic Con badge holder to attend. BoxLunch are hosting a vibrant, one day pop-up event and you simply have to be in the Big Apple on Friday 10th October, in the vicinity of 213 Bowery, NYC, between 11am and 6pm, and you could lay your hands on ‘…free swag, exclusive on-sale products (i.e. studio jackets), customization stations, photo-worthy experiences, the opportunity to bring in one of their favorite BoxLunch pieces for customization and more, all while continuing support of Feeding America!’ Result!

The shindig is being held to celebrate BoxLunch’s 10th anniversary and also how fans are driving real-world impact with the recent milestone donation of more than 265 million meals to date. As part of the on-site exclusives for fans, the BoxLunch Bodega will sell studio jackets across DC, Disney, Lucasfilm and WB, while supplies last – they are expected to drop on BoxLunch.com later this year, but the BoxLunch Bodega will be fans’ first and only chance to check them out in person.

Fans Can Step Inside the BoxLunch Bodega for a One-Day Immersive Experience Packed with Exclusive Merch, Upcycling Opportunities, Customization Stations and More on Friday, October 10 – 213 Bowery New York, NY 10002, 11am – 6pm

BoxLunch, the national retailer seamlessly blending the worlds of pop culture, philanthropy and fandom, announced an immersive fan experience in true New York style with a bodega-inspired pop-up on October 10 at 213 Bowery in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The one-day-only event honors the retailer’s 10th anniversary and fans’ contributions to BoxLunch’s philanthropic partner, Feeding America, by fusing the heart of fandom culture with the spirit of a NYC staple: the corner bodega. 

Open to the public, fans can expect to shop limited-edition anniversary merchandise. Additionally, they can bring in their favorite BoxLunch pieces to have customized at the on-site customization stations, showcasing creativity, community, and the brand’s commitment to giving back. Guests can also personalize BoxLunch totes with patches and illustrations, as well as purchase exclusive studio varsity jackets inspired by BoxLunch’s partner production studios. True to the bodega experience, the vibrant space will also be stocked with surprises, exclusive sales, personalized keepsakes, and photo-worthy moments.

Beyond the New York festivities, BoxLunch recently kicked off anniversary celebrations with a giveaway extravaganza! Continuing throughout October, fans can follow @BoxLunchGifts on Instagram for the chance to enter and win the best giveaways BoxLunch has ever had to offer! With 10 different giveaways, fans will be able to enter to win exciting trips to Japan, London, New Zealand, Hawaii, and more, as well as amazing prize packs and unique experiences.
