Valentines Day Anime Recommendations!

Valentines Day! A day for all couples to be extra romantic and gushy, but if you’re like many others…you might not have that partner in your life right now and would rather have some other fun!

Like always, making plans with friends is a great way to go! Even if it’s just getting together to watch some anime, especially with this great new anime season packed with Shoujo anime.

I’ve made up a fun list if you’re looking for something romantic and fun to watch with friends or by yourself this weekend, to fully enjoy your Valentines! First up we have a few recommendations for contemporary romance series. I cannot highly recommend these enough (sit tight, cause you’re all about to get a big list!), Tamon’s B-Side, Hana-Kimi, With You, Our Love Will Make It Through, My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999, Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!, and A Sign of Affection. All of these are very fun and sweet one season animes (so far), and just a great way to pass the time!

Now we have all the recommendations for a very special, and favorite type of anime/story I love, villains! To start this off, we have…May I Ask for One Final Thing?, Pass the Monster Meat, Milady!, The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom, and Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex. Once again, lots of fun to be hard with these!

But, if these are not to your liking, next we have paranormal! For this section we are pulling for the newest season(s) of anime! Starting with, The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife, Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits, and Vampire Dormitory

Lastly, I’ll recommend a longtime favorite of mine, and a new favorite that I am loving! The one I always love to rewatch is, I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss. I love the English dub of this short one season series. There is a manga book series (that also only covers what is in the anime), but there is also a novel series that goes way beyond what we get from the anime and manga. My newest favorite is The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter. Yes, a mouthful of a title, but still very fun to watch!

Of course there are plenty more romantic titles to watch, but these are just some of my own recommendations and series I love. Hopefully this helps all of you plan out your Valentines Day a bit better, and that you have something fun to watch too! All titles can be found on Crunchyroll currently!
