We’ve covered AHOY Comics quite a bit in the past few months, and today they announced their next set of titles.
I’m looking forward to their next set of comic book magazines, particularly PLANET OF THE NERDS because of this quote from Gene Ha “PLANET OF THE NERDS #1 captures the goofy joy of 80s classics like Revenge of the Nerds, Back To The Future, and Real Genius. Then, with the most elegant of plot twists, it updates the story for a different age. Smart, fast paced and beautifully drawn.“
Look for it on April 17th from the team of writer Paul Constant, interior artists Alan Robinson and Randy Elliott, colorist Felipe Sobreiro and cover artist David Nakayama.

BRONZE AGE BOOGIE coming on April 3rd by writer Stuart Moore, interior artist Alberto Ponticelli, colorist Giulia Brusco, with cover art by Ponticelli and Brusco.
HASHTAG: DANGER by writer Tom Peyer, interior art by Chris Giarrusso, with cover art from Richard Williams coming on May 1st.
STEEL CAGE One-Shot which will feature multiple stories. The issue will have stories from various creative teams. Writer Mark Waid and artist Lanna Souvanny will have one, as will the teams of writer Tom Peyer and artist Alan Robinson, and writer Stuart Moore and artist Peter Gross. Look for it on June 26th with cover art by Elsa Charretier

January 21, 2019 – AHOY Comics—the startup publisher that pledged for readers to “expect more” from its debut lineup of comic book magazines in 2018— will publish its second wave of titles this spring. AHOY launched four acclaimed comic book magazine titles in 2018 featuring full length comic book stories, poetry, prose fiction, and cartoons from more than seventy artists and writers. AHOY Comics’ second wave of comic book magazines will debut in comic book stores and on comiXology with more comic book stories, poetry, prose, recipes, and even a crossword puzzle in April of 2019.
AHOY Comics is led by Publisher Hart Seely, an award-winning reporter whose humor and satire has appeared in The New York Times and on National Public Radio; two original editors of DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint, Tom Peyer and Stuart Moore; and Chief Creative Officer Frank Cammuso.
