Last month our friends at Bird City Comics announced their first exclusive cover with art by Greg Horn and they are back with a yet another set of exclusives from him.
Set for release on Jan 13, 2021 is KING IN BLACK GWENOM VS CARNAGE #1 which was written by Seanan McGuire with interior art by Flaviano
The issue will have a lot of exclusive covers, but Bird City Comics managed to get Greg Horn back, and once again his cover art blows away some of the other variant covers I’ve seen!
But they will be releasing not just one version of the cover, not two, but three different versions! A trade version, a virgin (no trade) version, and for the 3rd version, a Gwenom unmasked virgin. We can’t wait to get all the issues in our hands later when they come out next month, and personally I like the 3rd version the best.
The artwork for all three versions are below, and they will go up for sale on Bird City Comics’ website at 11am Pacific/2pm Eastern today (December 12th). The trade version will retail for $15 and has a print run of 3000 with the virgin version costing $25 and the print for it was 1000. The Gwenom unmasked virgin also had a print run of 1000, and it will set you back $45.
