In news from Dark Horse Books this week came the announcement that they are teaming up with video game developer PixelOpus for The Art of Concrete Genie.
The 160-page full cover hardcover will be available starting December 10, 2019 (but you can pre-order now), with the namesake video game for PlayStation 4 set for release on October 8, 2019 (it can also be pre-ordered now).
The news continued this week with the announcement that Mike Baron and Steve Rude will be returning to their NEXUS with the release of Nexus: The Newspaper Strips Volume 1—The Coming of Gourmando trade paperback and Nexus: The Newspaper Strips Volume 1—The Coming of Gourmando Artist’s Edition hardcover.
The titles will see Mike Baron and Steve Rude deliver a new Nexus adventure that will also include a newly-remastered Nexus: The Origin comic as well as a classic Rude hand-painted Sundra story titled “When She was Young.”
Look for them when they are released on February 19, 2020 at comic book shops and on March 3, 2020 in bookstores.
Coming this November will be a new five part series that will usher in the next Generation of Lev Grossman’s THE MAGICIANS (who our own Samantha Maybe got to talk to during San Diego Comic-Con). The new series set in the world Lev created will be written by Lilah Sturges with art from Pius Bak.
Look for it on November 4th with a main cover from Qistina Khalidah and a tarot card variant cover by Alexa Sharpe.
