GAME AWARDS 2018: presenters / talent for December 6th show

With the annual The Game Awards ceremony one day away, today they announced a few of the presenters and celebrities who will be on stage at the show.

Some of the Hollywood celebs include Christoph WaltzThe Russo BrothersJonah HillAisha Tyler, as well as musicians including Rivers CuomoBrendon Urie, notable streamers like Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and 
JackSepticEye. Also present will be video game heads including Phil Spencer from Xbox, Jeff Kaplan from Blizzard, and Shawn Layden from PlayStation. 

The show will be live-streamed on various platforms including Facebook, Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube starting at 530pm Pacific / 830pm Eastern on December 6th with a 30 minute pre-show before the main awards ceremony begins.

The Game Awards 2018 is gearing up for its biggest show ever this Thursday, December 6th, live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Talent schedule to appear includes Jonah Hill, Christoph Waltz, The Russo Brothers (Avengers), Pepe the King Prawn, Aisha Tyler, Joel McHale, Rosa Salazar, Rivers Cuomo, Brendon Urie, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, JackSepticEye, Phil Spencer (Xbox), Jeff Kaplan (Blizzard), Shawn Layden (PlayStation) and more surprise guests and game developers to be announced.

Throughout the night, The Game Awards Orchestra, conducted by composer Lorne Balfe, will celebrate the rise of video game music with a series of performances featuring special guests, composers Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson-Williams, Lena Raine (nominee, Celeste), and Sarah Schachner. In addition, the song “Devil Trigger” from the upcoming game Devil May Cry 5 will receive a rousing live performance.

Produced by Geoff Keighley, The Game Awards is one of the most widely distributed digital events on the planet. The ceremony celebrates the best video games of the year, plus a sneak preview of the biggest releases and updates to come with world premieres from Fortnite, Obsidian Entertainment, Anthem, Far Cry and more than 10 new game announcements. The show is live-streamed across all major digital, gaming and social platforms, including YouTube (in 4K UHD resolution), Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, Mixer, Steam TV, PlayStation 4, Xbox Live, IGN, GameSpot, Polygon, MLG and Caffeine.tv – with more to be announced.
