We haven’t had as packed an Anime lineup in quite a few months, and it’s starting to look like October is going to be a great month of Anime!
Announcements have just started coming in over the past weekend and throughout this week so far, and I feel like I’m not prepared enough for all these shows coming out! Plenty of new series are just starting up…BUT, we finally have the next season for so many other great series!
Here is a listing all the popular releases coming this October:
- The Apothecary Diaries, season three – Oct.2nd
- Tougen Anki, season two – Oct.2nd
- Black Clover, season two –Oct.3rd
- From Far Away, series debut – Oct. 4th
- Even though I’m a super timid noble girl, I accepted the bet from my cunning fiance, series debut – Oct. 4th
- Hello, I’m a witch and my crush wants me to make a love potion!, series debut – Oct.5th
- Magic Knight Rayearth, series re-start – Oct.7th
- Firefly Wedding, series debut – Oct.9th
- Blue Lock, season three – Oct.9th
This is just nine so far, there could be more incoming that could start a little later in October. For now though, I am so excited to watch all of these. I am pretty sure every single one of these is on my watch list and I have been trying to be patient waiting for them. Blue Lock, in particular, is one I love watching and have been stoked for more of the series.
Hello, I’m a witch and my crush wants me to make a love potion! Is a series I have been reading and love that it’s already getting its own anime! Such a cute story, and I think people will love a short (one season only) series. Another manga adaptation finally coming to the screen is, Firefly Wedding. I haven’t read this myself yet, only some of it. It has been extremely popular lately since the manga’s conclusion was released.
From Far Away, the anime adaptation is one I feel like I have been waiting for years, before I ever knew it was getting an anime for real. I read this back in middle school (I think), and have reread it every year since because I love the story and characters so much. This is probably in my top three from this list that I am most looking forward to and honestly the release date can’t come any faster for me.
Now for the one everyone has been waiting for, years in fact. Black Clover is finally back and we have missed it so much! Recently (a few months ago), the manga series ended, and many who only watch the anime have been dying to find out how Asta’s story ends. Even though the anime has a long way to go before reaching the thrilling end of Black Clover, us fans are just happy to have it back and are looking forward to seeing the rest of the journey.
Since finding out back at Anime Expo that Magic Knight Rayearth would be getting a re-vamp of their classic series, has had me over the fricken moon. This is such a slept on classic manga (pretty much all of Clamp’s series are), and I am so happy that the anime is being re-done so that it can appeal to a new and younger audience. I know this is one I will be watching week to week instead of letting a few pile up to binge. I’m also happy for more seasons of Tougen Anki and The Apothecary Diaries, both are super fun to watch and will be an added delight to this season’s lineup!
