There were a lot of great panels at New York Comic Con this weekend, which makes me sad I wasn’t there. In addition to the RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET panel, there was a panel for Sony’s upcoming SPIDER-MAN: Into The Spider-Verse movie.
During the panel the producers (Phil Lord and Chris Miller) showed off the first 35 minutes of the movie, explaining that showing random clips from the movie could be confusing to the audience in attendance.
(For those who weren’t in attendance and want to see a bit more of the movie then what is shown in the trailer below, go see VENOM and wait until the very end of the credits for an extended scene from the movie.)
During their livestreams from New York Comic-Con, Marvel also conducted an interview with stars Shameik Moore (Miles Morales) and Jake Johnson (Peter Parker).
The movie is set to be released on December 14th, 2018 and stars a great voice cast that includes Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali, Jake Johnson, Liev Schreiber, Brian Tyree, Henry Luna, Lauren Velez, and Lily Tomlin.
While we aren’t able to attend in person, we can share some pictures from their panel at NYCC, as well as some photos taken backstage. All photos are courtesy of Sony Pictures/Getty Images that were made available for all to see.
