It’s been a big year for Ten Speed Press and Ten Speed Graphic. With the incredible reception their books have been garnering in 2024/2025, the Eisner nomination for BIG JIM AND THE WHITE BOY by David F. Walker and Marcus Kwame Anderson (Best Publication For Teens) must have been the cherry on a well-earned cake. Now, these creators along with many others will be journeying to San Diego to take part at the Penguin Random House Booths (#1514 / #1515) to meet and greet with friends and fans over the weekend (Thurs 24th-Sun 27th July, SAn Diego Convention Center CA).

‘BIG JIM AND THE WHITE BOY’ EISNER AWARD NOMINATION
BIG JIM AND THE WHITE BOY (Ten Speed Graphic), by David F. Walker and Marcus Kwame Anderson has been nominated for a 2025 Eisner Award in the “Best Publication for Teens” category. Big Jim and the White Boy is an acclaimed reimagining of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn that follows Jim, an enslaved man on a journey towards freedom, and his sidekick, Huck.
