Anime Impulse Seattle is almost here!

We are just days away from Anime Impulse being held here in Seattle, and true to me fashion, I just now have finalized my cosplay plans for both days 😂. But, I am so EXCITED for the convention!!! 

I am always excited for a convention, but a new convention and an anime one at that?!?! Ecstatic is almost too tame a word. There are so many amazing guests coming to the event, and I love that so many local cosplayers are guests! Many of them are friends, and I am also happy I myself am a guest (as well as being a judge on the lip sync contest on Sunday). This is my first time officially judging, but I have been watching a lot of lip sync battles to be prepared.

The schedule for both days at the convention also looks to be so much fun! It’s also going to be nice weather for Seattle too, which is few and far between. The main stage panels look super interesting, I’m especially interested in the Delicious in Dungeon panel. Voice actors for two of the main characters will be there, both the Japanese and English! 

I know many are waiting to see what other panels are happening this weekend, along with which vendors will be attending as well! I’ve seen some hints on Instagram with stamp rallies being promoted between vendors. I love whenever there are stamp rallies for a certain series, it’s a great way to interact with the people coming to conventions. It also really helps out the artists in the rally, now people will be more focused on checking out their wares. There is also the prize at the end that most people will be trying to get, mostly a small swag bag of goodies from all the vendors participating in the rally. 

This is looking like it will be a very fun way to spend the weekend, so if you haven’t already… Grab a ticket and see what all the fun is about!
