With Rose City Comic Con taking place this weekend, Dark Horse Comics today unveiled a convention exclusive for Saint John #1 featuring co-creator Brennan Wagner’s cover art.
The exclusive variant will feature artwork from series co-creator Brennan Wagner and will only be available at the Dark Horse booth (#701) this weekend. Considering the praise the issue has been getting, expect these to go fast!
The variant is limited to 500 copies, and will cost $20 each (with a limit of 5 per person) as supplies last.
In addition Marcus Harvey and series co-creator Brennan Wagner will be discussing the title on the Sunday of Rose City Comic Con from 12pm-1245pm in room E141-144. Later on that day they will be doing a signing at the Dark Horse booth from 4pm-445pm.

Dark Horse Comics presents an exclusive variant of Saint John #1 at Rose City Comic Con
Milwaukie, Ore., (September 19, 2023)—Rose City Comic Con 2023 will play host to a brand new superhero, made just for the city of Portland! Dark Horse Comics, in partnership with groundbreaking clothing brand Portland Gear, presents the Rose City’s own masked marvel in Saint John. Convention-goers can get their hands on the convention exclusive Saint John #1 with variant cover art by series co-creator Brennan Wagner at Dark Horse Booth #701 for $20. Only 500 copies will be available, limited to 5 per person, per day.
Born and raised in the streets of Portland, Oregon, Saint John is unlike any superhero before him, built for the quirks that make the city unique. Cartoonist Dan Schkade (Will Eisner’s The Spirit) and Portland native creator Brennan Wagner (Grendel: Devil’s Odyssey), along with letterer Frank Cvetkovic (Count Crowley), bring to life the vivid, sometimes funky world of the Rose City and the hero destined to keep it safe.
