I am so excited to be attending Anime Expo this year, and I keep hearing more and more fun things to check out. One of the biggest things I’ve heard about and have been really excited about since seeing the photos of it is the Hulu Activation happening. There are lots of immersive parts of this activation, including Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War, Naruto Shippudden, One Punch Man, and Dan Da Dan. I can’t wait to explore and see everything that this activation has to offer, I’m also really looking forward to taking photos with some of the characters from these anime’s. I will most definitely be posing with props from Bleach for photos and running with the Dan Da Dan crew (the photos are going to be so fun).
There’s also going to be a Hulu Animayhem City Lounge, I’m loving the Shibuya Crossing set up and it will be nice to have a cool spot to take a little rest after running around con all day. I can’t recommend enough for everyone attending Anime Expo this year to check out this fun anime packed Hulu activation, taking place July 3-6.

Anime Expo 2025: Hulu Animayhem City Brings Naruto Shippuden, Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War, Dan Da Dan, and More to Los Angeles
As the ultimate Anime destination, Hulu is bringing Hulu Animayhem City, an immersive modern metropolis, to Anime Expo in Los Angeles this year. The activation will be inspired by Hulu’s popular titles including Naruto Shippuden, Dan Da Dan, Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War, and One Punch Man. All these titles and more are streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers.
Starting July 3 though July 6, Hulu Animayhem City will bring their Anime fandom to life on the floor of the Los Angeles Convention Center. The activation will transport fans into a vibrant city packed with easter eggs, their favorite characters and interactive moments with Hulu’s most beloved Anime shows, along with exclusively themed take home memorabilia. Additional details on the shows involved and all immersive activities fans can expect to see at Hulu Animayhem City can be found below.
Shibuya Crossing
At the heart of the city, guests will find themselves at Shibuya Crossing, the sleek metropolis populated their favorite 2D cutout characters and shows just around the corner. The center will feature photo moments and video takeovers, highlighting each of the four shows and other Hulu Animayhem Anime content.
One Punch Man Photo Opportunity
Pose with your favorite superheroes and stars including Saitama, Genos, Tornado, Garou, Silver Fang and Superalloy Black Luster to transport into the world of One Punch Man, but beware of the one punch!
Dan Da Dan Photo Opportunity
Join Momo and Okarun as they run for their lives, leaping out of the screen with the layering of dimensional 2D cutouts. Guests are encouraged to ‘run’ with them and pose to capture a still photo, in an attempt to escape the enormous Earthbound Spirit Crab monster (Turbo Grannie’s true form).
BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Photo Opportunity
Stand side by side Orihime, Ichigo, Uryu and other characters from Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War. Guests will be able to pose with their favorite characters and wield iconic props from the show.
Naruto Shipudden Photo Opportunity
Pose alongside your favorite ninjas from Naruto: Shipudden including Naruto, Itachi, Sasuke, Kakashi, and Sakura in the Valley of the End.
Take a Break at Hulu Animayhem City Lounge
Every bustling city needs a place to escape the chaos and reset. Guests will be invited to take some time to “R and R” in the city lounge. Lounge space is provided in two areas of the City, offering cozy cafe seating, Hulu-branded pillows, and charging stations.
