LOS ANGELES — SEPTEMBER 13, 2024 — Los Angeles Comic Con, L.A.’s largest event for comics, gaming, sci-fi, anime and pop culture, is excited to release its entire lineup of panels, entertainment and activations for its October 4-6 show. After delivering its most diverse and engaging show in event history in 2023, L.A. Comic Con is once again leveling up its show experience for fans by bringing them some of their most requested celebrity guests for panels and photograph/autograph opportunities, while welcoming new key partnerships with brands such as IGN to elevate the entire experience.
“Every year, it’s our goal to give attendees the most diverse, eclectic and inspiring show, that lets them rediscover why they’re fans in the first place,” said Chris DeMoulin, CEO/GM of Los Angeles Comic Con parent company CEI. “This year, we’re really touching on the nostalgia strings, bringing together some of our most requested guests and panels from the epic classic films we all know and love, while also highlighting the works of new creatives. LA Comic Con 2024 will feature over 300 panels and programming across the three-day event to showcase some of the most recognized and beloved names in pop culture. Throughout the weekend, there will be opportunities for fans to take photos and get autographs from their favorite talent. The main stage will feature some of the most anticipated L.A. Comic Con panels in recent years, including a reunion panel for the cast of The Addams Family, featuring Anjelica Huston, several “Star Wars” panels featuring Ewan McGregor, Rosario Dawson and more, and a live simulcast of the “Back to the Future” panel with Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Tom Wilson and Lea Thompson.“
Additionally, L.A. Comic Con is teaming up with IGN to broadcast all the highlights and best moments during the weekend. L.A. Comic Con will introduce new and exciting gaming activations to the West Hall , including Gonna Need Milk’s inaugural MILK Cup LAN Fortnite Championship featuring 99 of the best women gamers competing for $250,000, the largest women’s eSports prize pool in North American history.

The MILK Cup LAN Fortnite Championship
On Saturday, October 5th, L.A. Comic Con will host Gonna Need Milk’s inaugural Fortnite Championship in the Gaming Hall, featuring 99 of the best women gamers competing for $250,000, the largest women’s eSports prize pool in North American history. The championship will be broadcasted live on the gaming stage, with participants taking over the entirety of the Freeplay zone in the West Hall. Competitors will engage in trios scored by final Battle Royale placement in a best-of-three matches format.

An exclusive panel featuring the brilliant minds and voices behind the animated series, including creator Vivienne Medrano, voice actor and co-writer Brandon Rogers, and voice actress Erica Lindbeck.

Back to the Future Reunion
Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson and Thomas Wilson will come together for a cast reunion of the all-time cult-classic nearly 40 years after its release. While the panel will be broadcast on the main stage, it will take place in a 1,000-seat auditorium on the second floor of the L.A. Convention Center.
The 9th Annual National Cosplay Championship:
There’s no Comic Con without Cosplaying! That’s why every year, we give all our creative cosplayers a chance to compete for $25,000 in cash and other prizes by participating in one of three categories: Master, Journeyman, or Novice. All genres are welcome, including characters from film, television, theater, comics, video games, sci-fi, anime, horror, and original creations.
Kids’ Costume Contest:
Every year we host a special costume contest for all the junior cosplayers 12 and younger. All finalists will receive prizes and the top 5 will win a prize pack provided by a special guest!
Autographs and Photo Ops:
Fans can pre-purchase autographs and photo opportunities with some of their most anticipated guests!
