This is some of the most exciting news! I have grown up on Studio Ghibli (as most of us have) and always love seeing the special pop ups we get at a few of the really big conventions (like SDCC). So, this is really great news for fans, because now there is an actual in-person store we can go check out and immerse ourselves in! I know, I will be trying to sneak in a quick trip in to check out this new (limited) in-person store!

Fans Can Step Into the World of My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle and More Beginning June 23
The magic of Studio Ghibli is arriving in Los Angeles. For the first time ever in the United States, Donguri Republic, the official Studio Ghibli merchandise shop, is opening a limited-time location at Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, bringing hundreds of beloved items inspired by some of the most iconic animated films of all time.
Starting June 23, fans can immerse themselves in the enchanting worlds of My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle and more, with over 400 officially licensed products inspired by the beloved Studio Ghibli films available to shop.
Known throughout Japan and Asia as a destination for Ghibli fans, Donguri Republic will recreate the warmth and wonder of Studio Ghibli’s storytelling through a beautifully designed retail experience featuring wood-inspired interiors, whimsical displays, and a giant Totoro waiting at a bus stop for the Cat bus.

The beloved Studio Ghibli merchandise destination Donguri Republic is making history with its first-ever U.S. store.
For six months only, fans can shop exclusive merchandise inspired by Studio Ghibli’s most celebrated films, including:

To celebrate the grand opening:

- Fans attending screenings during STUDIO GHIBLI FEST 2026 can receive exclusive movie film-style bookmarks with qualifying purchases.
