This week our friends at Magnetic Press launched a new Kickstarter that fans of high fantasy may be interested in.
Magnetic Press: The Carrion Collection features three beautifully illustrated fantasy tales from celebrated French artist Antoine Carrion, also known as ‘Tentacle Eye’.
The first tale, White Shadows written by Antoine Ozanam is about a kidnapped prince who holds the key to a kingdom in conflict, but the mysterious Beast who took him may prove more dangerous than the whispers suggest.
The second of the three tales, Nils Written by Jérôme Hamon, is a post-apocalyptic fantasy that draws from Norse mythology and Japanese Kami. In a world where crops have mysteriously ceased to grow, a young boy and his father embark on a journey to uncover the truth behind a technological empire draining life-giving spirits for selfish gains.
The last of the three tales is Temudjin written by Antoine Ozanam is inspired by the rise of Genghis Khan, about an ancient world where a reluctant leader possesses the ability to communicate with spirits.
