Marvel Comics announces MAJOR X #0 coming this August

Rob Liefeld’s return to the X-Men universe for Marvel has been such a hit with the first 3 issues of Major X selling out before release date, that this week Major X #0 was announced.

The one-shot issue will combine Wolverine issues 154 and 155 with a a new Major X short story that Liefeld is both writing and handling the art for, and will delve further into Major X’s history.

The issue will be written by Liefeld and Eisner award nominee for Nowhere Men Eric Stephenson, with Liefeld handling the art for the issue.

Look for it this August at your local comic book shop with a main cover by Liefeld and a variant cover by Ed Piskor (who did the wonderful X-Men Grand Design last year).

If you’re looking to see Liefeld at a convention this summer, look for him both at Amazing Comic Con Las Vegas in June and for the first time ever outside of North America, at London Film & Comic Con this July.
