First up in our recap of the week that was for Marvel Comics, is the news that to celebrate the wedding of Ben Grimm and Alicia Masters in the pages of FANTASTIC FOUR, Marvel will be releasing variant covers featuring some of the top villains from Marvel’s first family.
The variant covers will spread across 22 different titles and feature art from noteworthy names like Jen Bartel, Alan Davis, Marko Djurdjevic, Bill Sienkiewicz, and more. The issues will be hitting stores in December, so keep an eye out for them!
Next up is a teaser for the new GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY series from Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw. The new series will see it’s first issue hit shelves on January 23rd with a cover by David Marquez.
Marvel sent out a few emails teasing the new series, with various members of the team obscured, before sending out the cover you see below showing off the full team. The new team includes: Moondragon,
Cosmic Ghost Rider, Groot, Nova Silver Surfer, Adam Warlock, Beta Ray Bill, Darkhawk, Star-Lord, Phyla-Vell, and Gladiator.
