Talkin’ Con: A Cup O’ Tea with An Englishman In San Diegos06e22 (17th March 2019)

“…help me… help you… help ME… help YOU…!”

We want to help attendees – and professionals – heading to cons get the very most out of their event experiences, so we’re holding an open show today where anything can be talked about – from what shows to attend in 2019, what to expect from some of the biggest draws, to organising yourself as best you can to fit as much in possible.

To demonstrate this, we may also hopefully be joined by one, the other or both of our Convention Collective roving reporters – Dan berry and Samantha Maybe – who are on the ground at Emerald City Comic Con this weekend. Interview schedules, convention centre WIFI and more withstanding, they’ll be letting us know how the weekend has gone at this glittering affair.

TALKIN’ CON: A CUP O’ TEA WITH AN ENGLISHMAN IN SAN DIEGO is the weekly con culture live podcast, broadcasting every Sunday (6pm GMT / 10am PT / 1pm ET) and hosted by Leonard Sultana.

Each week, the best bloggers on t’web talk about con culture and, for an hour or so, we invite guests to talk to us and get nerdy and geeky about everything that orbit the best comics and pop culture conventions on the planet!

TALKIN’ CON: A CUP O’ TEA… is broadcasted live on YouTube, and then shared to our SoundCloud and iTunes Podcast channels, as well as our Patreon page ( Please Like, Subscribe, Share and Comment to support our efforts!

Our Guests, this week:

  • Dan Berry, The Convention Collective
  • Samantha Maybe, The Convention Collective
  • …more amazing guests, to be announced!

Talkin’ Con is YOUR show – if you have anything you’d like to have discussed in these shows, or a guest that you would like us to feature, leave a comment below or drop us a line at – we’d love to hear what you’d like to talk about.
