Today is the second day proper of San Diego Comic-Con’s ‘virtual convention’ – SDCC@HOME, running over the days of what would have been the physical convention (Thursday 23rd – Sunday 26th July; Preview Night, Wednesday 22nd July 2020) and has seen a premiere of a video ‘panel’ for one of the more popular shows to represent at SDCC, VIKINGS (…and also the more popular offsite events, too – who can forget the Vikings Battle Axe Training ground from last year or the VIKINGS funeral procession? or the replica Viking long-ship a couple of years ago?)
With Comic-Con taking place all virtually this year, the session moved to cyberspace with stars Jordan Patrick Smith, Clive Standen, Alex Ludwig, Katheryn Winnick, Travis Fimmel, and the executive producer of the show, Michael Hirst, participated in a presentation titled VIKINGS: A LOOK BACK WITH THE LOTHBROKS.
During the panel that was released today, the cast reminisced about some of their favorite moments during SDCC, Alexander saying who was Bjorn Ironside’s greatest love (which got him some flack from the other cast members, and was removed due to it being a spoiler, as well as talking about some of the scenes (including one which was debuted during the panel and can be seen below), Lagertha and Ragnar’s reunion in Valhalla, and more.
