Wow, oh, wow! Back to back cons within three days of each other! This is crazy and a first for me as well! But I am so up for the challenge (my dumbass last words), because Rose City Comic Con is too much fun to miss! Going straight from Dragon Con in Atlanta to Portland, and trying to sleep for three days straight to get back in the time zone, is well worth it to me.
I’ll be with the same friend for both conventions, so I’m trying to be smart and pack a whole other bag of clothes and con needs just for when we get back for RCCC. I’m pretty much vibrating out of my skin just thinking about going to this convention! There are so many cool vendors that I only get to see at this con, and there are always amazing artists as well! I’m also working hard to convince another friend of mine to pop down for just Saturday to do a photo with the Devil himself. Charlie Cox, Marvel’s Daredevil, and the star of Daredevil: Born Again. Because let’s face it, it is going to be so hard to get a photo with him or see him again in this new MCU show that everyone has been waiting for (I do wish they were bringing back The Punisher with him at this con, Jon Bernthal is one of my favorite actors ever). I’m also on a Marvel kick again since the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie, and I’m dying for some merch along with catching up on the MCU (I do refuse to watch The Marvels though, you can’t make me).
I’ve also been attending Rose City Comic Con for years and never once have I had a bad time there, it’s always fun time with friends. Oh gosh friends! I am so excited to see my Portland friends and get some cool group cosplay shots! I’ve been working hard on an all new cosplay lineup for these back to back conventions, and I can’t wait to share how they turned out!
The schedule for this weekend convention looks almost too much fun, I have to keep going through the app schedule and trying to plan out my days. It’s not looking great, too many fun things are happening at the same time. Now I have to choose which panels and meet ups I’m going to be stopping by at, but no matter what I check out they will all be good. Some of the panels I’m looking at are, Take the Dare with Charlie Cox, Attack on Titan cast spotlight, Naruto cast, One Piece meetup, and Smut or Angst: The Fanfiction Title Game Show. All of these panels look like so much fun, especially the fanfiction game (you all know how I love to read it).
