Today Los Angeles Comic Con announced more guests for their annual show that take over the Los Angeles Convention Center (October 11-13).
At the Legion M booth attendees can take photos in front Quick Stop facade that was used in the Jay and Silent Bob Reboot movie. Attendees can also see Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes on Saturday, October 12th at 2:30pm on the main stage for a Jay and Silent Bob Reboot panel, which will be followed by a Jay and Silent Bob cosplay photo shoot at the Quick Stop facade. The photo shoot will be at the Legion M booth and both Kevin and Jason will be there.
That wasn’t the only guest announcement today, as legendary writer and director John Milius will be at the Legion M booth all three days of the show.
Next week the full schedule for the show will be released, but details on a few panels were revealed today via their press release.
- Local Los Angeles show-turned-Netflix-series Historical Roasts is taking on Ted Bundy, who will be roasted by other famous true-crime legends
- Fictional Roasts will feature The Avengers roasting the mad titan Thanos
- UCB Theater is bringing local cult show Tournament of the Nerds
- Comedians will be pitted against comic creators in a nerdy debate called Comics on Comics
- Your favorite Voiceover actors will compete in the improv game show Voicenado
- Stand up comedians in costumes take the stage in Cosplay Comedy
- And is it even a comic con without Harry Potter-themed improv from The Show That Shall Not Be Named?
Lastly in the news today from LACC was an official after party. Ready Party One was a hit during SDCC and now it’s coming up to Los Angeles. The party will take place at the Globe Theater (about a mile from the convention center) on Saturday night after the con ends for the day. Tickets are now on sale for the party.
