Bandai Namco Toys review – Jujutsu Kaisen and Dragon Ball Z figures

Okay, first of all. I am so excited. Ever since I was little, I have loved getting mail. And today was a great mail day! I got an amazing package filled to the brim of anime figures from Bandai Namco Toys and for hours now, I have been opening everything and trying out the different features.

Here’s a list of the coolness I got today

  • SHFiguarts Satoru Gojo (Jujutsu Kaisen)
  • SHFigurarts Yuji Itadori (Jujutsu Kaisen)
  • Proplica Sukuna’s finger (Jujutsu Kaisen)
  • SHFiguarts Cell First Form (Dragon Ball Z)

I’m still not over how cool all of these are! I keep touching the Sukuna finger and pointing it at people in my house or over photos to friends. I can’t wait to use it in my Sukuna and Yuji cosplays in the future (I’ll be pretending to eat it or offer it).

Then there is Yuji’s figure, I mean wow. The details are so nice and I’m having way too much fun moving him around and trying all the additional parts. Such as the different hands, faces, hair and movement positions he can get into. Let me tell you, there is a lot you can do with this SHFiguarts. Hand, face, neck, arm, elbows, legs, and even feet movement! It’s almost too much! Now I can have my characters overlooking the Sukuna finger or even have Gojo make Yuji eat it.

Then there is the man himself, Gojo. Can you hear that swoon in my voice? No, not yet? Well, just you wait! No man or anime character (especially a white haired one) should have so many details on a figure! He’s just too pretty! I keep looking at him showing his years and have to switch out the face to make sure those piercing blue eyes of his don’t stare too deeply into my soul. My goodness, there is a valid reason why this anime man has such a cult following. He’s just so beautiful…

Lastly, I got the biggest and my first Dragon Ball Z figure. I mean this guy is pretty big compared to the others and he has the most pieces to him. I’ve been a little intimidated at opening him up and figuring out all his many poses. But, as I sit here trying to type this all out, I’m also having the time of my life just playing with Cell’s tail. It’s so long and has a suction cup or stinger option (and yes I do know how he is, you can’t be in anime without watching most of DBZ or any other form of it). I guess my favorite part of him is just how green he is, and how easily I can hear his English voice actor as I study all the little details on his alien skin.

I can not thank Justin with Bandai Namco Toys enough for sending me these incredible figures! I am so in love with all of them and having the best time just playing around. It’s also fun choosing their final pose and putting them on my bookcase with their manga. As I said before, pretty much the best day to get some surprise figure mail!
