Thanks to Tiny Onion for the review copy!

Adela is an ambitious reporter that has worked her way undercover to infiltrate and observe a group of white supremacist neo-Nazi punks. We quickly find out that she may have bitten off more than she can chew, literally.
The group heads to the frozen forests of northern Scandinavia believing that they can summon their God. They believe that Odin will deliver their promised white destiny. What starts to happen to them in the wilderness is pretty horrific! Odin is the new 9 issue folk horror maxiseries from Image and Tiny Onion. It is written by James Tynion IV (Something is Killing the Children, Exquisite Corpses) and Marguerite Bennett (Witchblade, Mommy Blog). Letizia Cadonici, the artist on Tynion’s House of Slaughter, brings her talents to Odin producing horrifying imagery with multi-Eisner award winning colorist Jordie Bellaire, rounding out the creative team.
Through Adela’s eyes, issue #1 introduces the reader to a lot of characters with unique roles in this group. We start to see what happens as they enter these woods and encounter ancient creatures of Norse mythology.
The first issue features some great variant covers. The A cover was illustrated by Alex Eckman-Lawn. Additional open order covers and retailer incentives have been done by Sebastian Fiumara, Cadonici (1:10), Christian Ward (1:25), and Martin Simmonds (1:50). Jae Lee created an amazing cover for the highly coveted 1:100, as well as a blank sketch cover.

There are some beautiful store variants that have been revealed thus far. This includes a cover by Jonathan Wayshak through Third Eye Comics, a virgin foil by Sukesha Ray from East Coast Comics, and an exclusive by Jeff Monk from Black Saber Comics.

Odin #1 is set for release on May 20th, 2026.
