This year at San Diego Comic-Con International, we have a number of correspondents with ‘boots on the ground’, doing their best to take in as much of the sights and sounds of the show as possible, checking out a number of the panels and also interviewing some really cool and interesting creatives, dotted around the show.
One of these is Correspondent Dan Berry and he had the opportunity to talk to writer/artist Ed Laroche about a book that he poured his heart and soul into, one that he – while set in a near-future sci-fi setting – feels has a lot to say about today’s political, technological and social landscapes: THE WARNING from Image Comics.
You can listen to the entire interview here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/sdcc-2019-in-ed-28735089
Ed has been working on THE WARNING for quite some time and Image Comics has given him the support system, as well as the creative latitudes to come up with something powerful, suspenseful and resonant (you can tell that we’re fans of the book, can’t you??).
Thanks to Ed for taking the time to talk to us, and to Dan and Image Comics for helping to set up the interview. Enjoy!!
