This was great! I had a lot of fun trying to sort out what was going on and figure it out. It took me a long while too! I even had to break out some paper and a pen! Kudos to Werner and team for taking the popular murder mystery in a box format we have seen so much of lately and turning it into an interactive comic book! Great idea. On top of that it’s a great value at $4.99! Some of these murder mystery boxes come in at $50-$100.00 or more and that often is only part of a case. These cases appear to be contained to a singular issue which is cool. I don’t know how often they will be released but I have to imagine keeping up with a monthly release schedule would be grueling in this format. Especially given Werner largely writes and illustrates this on his own. There is a lot packed into this issue to really explore and think about so it has to take a great deal of time to plan. If you are into mystery, true crime or just like to figure things out this is a fun and engaging read that is well worth checking out! Especially if you are already invested in the Cleaver County universe. I look forward to checking out the next issue!
