Let’s head to the City of roses for Rose City Comic Con!

I am so excited for another Portland convention! I love Rose City Comic Con, and I will always try and make time to attend this convention. I have a blast every year and meet some of the best people! Even now, friends online and fellow cosplayers are asking me if I’ll be showing up and which cosplays I’ll bring with me! 

I really like that I got a little extra time before this convention, not as much as I have before Kumoricon (but still a good amount). I was able to fix up some cosplays and put together a new one! 

There are so many fun things happening this weekend and I can not wait to share my daily updates with you all on social media as well as with my daily articles on how each day at con has gone. Some of my goals are to go to as many of the panels I’ve seen and marked as interesting (and honestly wanting to hear about certain things). Let’s hope I make it to more than one this time (Sadly, at Dragon Con I made it to none). I really want to go to the cosplay ones on competing, videography, space for cosplay, and “Jewish Science Fiction”. Now that last one, I am very curious about it! I just need to know what it’s all about and it’s the first time I’ve ever seen anything like it on a schedule at a convention. 

Some of the other panels that caught my eye are “Cosplaying for Children’s Charities”, “Script Writing”, and the highly anticipated “ChefPK’s Reverse Maid Cafe”. There’s also a few voice actor panels I want to go to, the Jujutsu Kaisen group one. I would also really love to meet Eric Vale, since he voices my anime husband Sanji from One Piece. Then the true dream team from Doctor Who, Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) and Arthur Darvill (Rory Williams). They have been my favorite to watch on Doctor Who for years now, so if I can meet them and get a photo… I will try to make it happen! 

I also just found out that many of my favorite artists will be in attendance (Smoorsh, Pluvialcapricorn, Keruchii and eleanorgrootch), and they will be doing a stamp rally for One Piece. I will be running to the vendor hall first thing to get a map sheet to start the rally right away, they are very limited for the weekend. They will also be having exclusive art merch, that I pretty much need now that I have seen.

Overall, this looks like it’s shaping up to be a great weekend away at Rose City Comic Con! So many fun things to do and see! Plus, let’s not forget all the great food to eat in the area, and the boba tea to drink!
