Day 3 of Rose City Comic Con 2023 recap and my convention haul wrap-up

The final day at Rose City Comic Con was by far my favorite for many reasons, one could be the best birthday gift I got myself this year at con or the very funny ChefPK panel. There was just so much to see this year, I loved seeing the kids area full of activities and happy children (and happy parents too). I also did most of my shopping on Friday, wanting to get it out of the way and then mostly shopping for others (my trading card vendor dashing) on Saturday. Sunday was all about spending time with friends and talking with new people (but I did that all weekend),

Sadly, on the last day there were no more One Piece trading cards left for me to grab (at least out of the two types I really wanted to have more of, or another shot at). Don’t worry, I was able to get a few other things in the artist alley and a few things to add in a wedding gift. I even grabbed an amazing early birthday gift for myself (I’m doing a full article on this item because of how cool it is).

Once again, sadly no more panels for me on the last day, there wasn’t anything I was super interested in. I really just enjoyed spending time with my friends, either at their booth or walking around with them. We met so many cool vendors, artists and new friends among people at the convention (a few I will be seeing soon at GeekGirlCon on October 7th & 8th).

My convention haul is pretty much as one would expect to see from me, all about that One Piece. Although, I would like to point out that I did not pick up any more figures for myself. I would have to say that most of the items I picked up were the One Piece trading cards along with some prints. What is not pictured below are the gifts I got for friends, and the amazing deck boxes I got myself for my birthday (the coolest thing I have ever seen so far).

At the start of this trip I was promised Korean fried chicken before I headed back home and some boba tea. I got my chicken and then some, but no boba this trip since it was so late in the evening when I started my road trip back home. Anyway, besides the great food, company, and merchandise. I would have to say that this year at Rose City Comic Con was a blast to attend and I am already going again next year (September 6-8, 2024).
